The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation caters to rehabilitation services for patients. Our constant endeavor is early detection of functional and physiological disabilities in patients using well designed interventions. Physiotherapists and occupational therapists carry out the work of rehabilitation as directed by the Physiatrist.
The major work of this department is completed in association with the Department of Orthopaedics, Neuromedicine, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Paediatrics including Neonatology and other medical & surgical departments. The ultimate goal is to restore optimal function at the earlier and the re-integration of patients in their social set-up.
