• Dr. Tarun Kanti Sarker obtained his MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College (DMC). 
• He achieved his MD in Neurology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). 
• Dr. T. K. Sarker started his career as a Medical Officer at Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex. He worked in various positions in different hospitals and institutes including Rangpur Medical College Hospital, Rangpur, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka, National Institute of Ophthalmology (NIO), Dhaka and the Rajshahi Medical College (RMC), Rajshahi.
• He is vastly experienced in neurological conditions, including diseases of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscles, epilepsy, migraine and headaches, neuromuscular disease, sleep disorders, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and related disorders, dementia and cognitive impairment etc.
• Dr. T. K. Sarker has special training in Rheumatoloty, Cardiology and Hepatology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka.
• He remained the part of many professional trainings in home and abroad.   
• Now Dr. Tarun Kanti Sarker is working at Asgar Ali Hospital as Senior Consultant – Neuromedicine and serving patients regularly.
