• Prof. Dr. Mala Banik obtained her MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital (SSMCH).

• She achieved her FCPS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). Also completed MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. 

• Dr. Mala Banik has vast experience of working at country’s most reputable healthcare institutions. She is currently the Professor & Head, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jashore Medical College (JMC). Prior to this, she served as a Professor at Sir Salimullah Medical College. She is known for her compassionate approach and evidence-based practice.

• She has authored over 15 publications in both national and international peer-reviewed journals. Her clinical insights and academic contributions are frequently sought after at conferences and seminars on reproductive health and women’s wellness.

• At present, Prof. Dr. Mala Banik is serving patients regularly at Asgar Ali Hospital as Senior Consultant – Obs & Gynae Oncology, Colposcopy and Infertility Specialist.
