• Prof. Dr. Rafat Nawaz obtained her MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College.
• She successfully completed her M.R.C.O.G and F.R.C.O.G from Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (London).
• Prof. Dr. Rafat Nawaz has also actively participated in different academic activities including teaching and training. She has attended many conferences and presented several scientific papers. She has received advanced training on (i) Advanced training on Gynaecological Laparoscopic Surgery from Delhi, India; 2006, (ii) Advanced Laparoscopic & Hysteroscopic training in Cochin, Kerala, India; 2007 & (iii) Training in Transvaginal Sonography, Dhaka; 2008.
• Publications: She has got more than thirteen publications on respective subject in different national & international journals. 
• She actively participated in different activities, conferences, and seminars in home and abroad.
• Now Prof. Dr. Rafat Nawaz is at Asgar Ali Hospital as Part-Time Senior Consultant – Gyn & Obs and serving patients on regular basis.
