• Professor Dr. Subash Kanti Dey obtained his MBBS degree from Chittagong Medical College, University of Chittagong.
• He subsequently completed his MD in Neurology from Mymensingh Medical College, University of Dhaka.
• He pursued a Fellowship in Interventional Neurology & Stroke at the Max Institute of Neurosciences, New Delhi, India, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Shakir Husain, Director of Interventional Neurology.
• Additionally, he received specialized training in ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) from South Korea.
• With more than 20 years of academic and clinical experience, Professor Dey has served in progressive roles including Lecturer, Registrar, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. He is recognized as one of the pioneers of Interventional Neurology in Bangladesh, particularly at BSMMU where he introduced advanced neuro interventional procedures.

   - Stroke & Interventional Neurology
   - Diagnostic & Therapeutic Neuro intervention
   - Aneurysm Coiling & AVM Embolization
   - Carotid Angioplasty & Stenting
• Professor Dey has performed over:
   - 3,025 Diagnostic Cerebral Angiograms
   - 326 Carotid Angioplasty & Stenting procedures
   - 225 Aneurysm Coilings
   - 122 AVM Embolizations, along with numerous other advanced neurovascular interventions.
• He has actively contributed to postgraduate teaching, clinical mentoring, and clinical research at Bangladesh Medical University (Ex BSMMU).
• He has authored and co-authored more than 40 research publications in renowned national and international journals, focusing on stroke, interventional neurology, carotid stenosis, aneurysms, AVM, and cerebrovascular diseases. He has also presented at various academic and scientific forums.
• Professor Dey is widely regarded for his leadership in Stroke & Interventional Neurology Division and his commitment to advancing stroke care and neuro interventional practices in Bangladesh.
• Prior to joining Asgar Ali Hospital, he served as as Professor & Head of Stroke & Interventional Neurology Division at Bangladesh Medical University (Ex BSMMU), Dhaka.
