• Dr. Abeeda Tasnim Reza obtained her MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College (DMC).
• She completed her MD in Cardiology from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD).
• She achieved her MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, UK.
• She was awarded FAPSIC by the Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology and FSCAI by the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI). She also successfully passed the European Exam in Core Cardiology (EECC).
• Her certifications include Certificate in Diabetology (CCD) from BIRDEM, Advanced Course in Echocardiography (India), and a Postgraduate Fellowship in Echocardiography (NHF&RI).
• She received advanced training in cardiac imaging- Cardiac Computed Tomography (Hong Kong) and the CLIMB Heart Failure Program.
• Dr. Abeeda is highly skilled and experienced in Coronary Angiogram & Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Peripheral Arterial Angiogram, Cardiac Catheterization, Permanent & Temporary Pacemaker Implantation, Pericardiocentesis, Percutaneous Transvenous Mitral Commissurotomy (PTMC), ASD & VSD, as well as ICD & CRT Implantation.
• As an academic contributor, she has presented over 30 scientific papers and case studies at national and international conferences, including Asia PCR, and has received several awards.
• She has published 29 peer-reviewed journal articles as a primary author or co-author in both national and international journals.
• She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Bangladesh Cardiac Society, Bangladesh Society of Cardiovascular Intervention, National Heart Failure Research Foundation, and Bangladesh Cardiovascular Imaging Society.
• Prior to joining Asgar Ali Hospital, she served as Associate Consultant – Clinical & Interventional Cardiology at Evercare Hospital Dhaka.
• Dr. Abeeda Tasnim Reza is currently serving at Asgar Ali Hospital as Associate Consultant in Clinical & Interventional Cardiology.
