• Md. Wakil Ahad completed his B.Sc. in Speech and Language Therapy from the Bangladesh Health Professions Institute (BHPI).
• He has worked as a Deputy Manager, Technical, Rehabilitation in the UPG program of BRAC for providing community-based rehabilitation in the ultra-poor community levitating his skill as a speech and language therapist professional.
• His clinical expertise includes key roles at CRP-Savar and Proyash-Rangpur, where he provided therapy to a diverse range of patients, including children with autism, adults with neurological disorders, and pediatric patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• He completed a comprehensive one-year internship across various CRP centers (Mirpur, Savar, and Rajshahi), gaining extensive experience in emergency pediatric care, autism management, adult rehabilitation, and regional community-based programs. These experiences have deepened his commitment to evidence-based and person-centered therapeutic approaches.
• He has completed the Workshop on Oral Placement Therapy and a Certified Workshop on Evidence-Based Parenting Style and Early Childhood Development.
• He has obtained a full membership from the Society of Speech and Language Therapists (SSLT) and is working with full dedication as a general member.
• Md. Wakil Ahad is currently serving as a Speech and Language Pathologist at Asgar Ali Hospital.
