• Professor Dr. Bithi Bhowmik obtained an MBBS degree from Rajshahi Medical College.
• After completion of the internship, she started her career as a Medical Officer in the Society for Assistance to Hearing Impaired Children (SAHIC) at Mohakhali, Dhaka.
• Then she received Honorary Training from Dhaka Medical College and BSMMU.
• Dr. Bithi obtained FCPS in Otolaryngology from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS).
• After that, she joined as a Consultant, ENT in BIHS (Project of BIRDEM) Hospital, Mirpur, Dhaka, and worked for 2 years.
• Moving forward, Dr. Bithi joined in Delta Medical College Hospital as an Assistant Professor and was promoted as Associate Professor ofthe  ENT Department.
• She had worked as Professor & Head of the dept. at Ashiyan Medical College.
• She obtained advanced training in all types of ENT, Head and Neck Surgery.
• Dr. Bithi got trained in Micro Ear Surgery, Micro Laryngeal Surgery, Laser Surgery, Head-Neck Cancer Surgery and Sleep Surgery from Chennai and Singapore.
• She is skilled in doing Coblation Tonsilectomy, Sleep Surgery (Sleep Apnea/ Snoring problem etc).
• Dr. Bithi has publications in different National & International journals and attended a number of workshops and medical seminars in home and abroad.
• Now Professor Dr. Bithi Bhowmik is working at Asgar Ali Hospital as Consultant – ENT, Head & Neck Surgery and serving patients regularly.
